Lowry Livin': Knitting Group Halloween Party

A few months ago I started a knitting group that meets each Friday morning in my backyard. The theory is, kids play together while mommies sit and knit. The reality is, mommies spend so much time chasing kids around that very little knitting actually happens. Today, we gave up knitting altogether and joined the kids in a Halloween Celebration. Abby was thrilled to help me with the preparations. Here she is wearing her complete costume for the very first time. Meet "Abigail, The White Princess", (A.K.A. Marry Girl). There is a story behind the whole bride costume. A few weeks ago we were at a wedding and Abby was FASCINATED by the bride. She had to be in sight at all times and Abby started calling her a "White Princess" and followed her around for the entire evening. She thought the whole wedding idea was quite glamorous: beautiful dress, pretty flowers, humongous cake, piles and piles of presents... you get the idea.

We were soon joined by a few of our favorite little monsters...

The whole group enjoyed crafts and slightly disgusting treats at the table.

King Tyson made a royal appearance.
