Falliday 2010

You know it's Falliday when... You are so blissfully pooped by the end of the night that you can't even climb the ladder to your bunk bed, and prefer to crash on the floor....
...you jump so high on the tramp that you truly believe you can fly...

You can paint on your friend's faces and not get in trouble...

...You can swing with your cousin who began the Falliday tradition 3 years ago (from the womb)...

...you can sit innocently in your exersaucer and wait for well-intentioned toddlers to feed you Oreos...

...you can show off your belly button and get it smooched by every kid in the neighborhood...

...and finally, you can hang out at the "F'Art" table all night long and not get any dirty looks!

Yes, we had a Fantastic Falliday with Family and Friends last Friday. The third annual Falliday Feast was the best yet! Yay for made-up holidays!

Abby and Isaac were on the decorating committee and worked hard to make the traditional leaf-rubbing banner, then set up the tables, scatter the leaves, and hide plastic acorns all around the yard.

A friend brought this "fall bucket list" with a list of things to be checked off before Fall "kicks the bucket". I'm proud to say this little made-up holiday checked quite a few items off the list!

As the evening wore one, our little party go-ers got a little dizzy with excitement!

We continued the tradition of adding an "F" to the beginning of everything. "F'rownies" were a new addition to the dessert table.

Of course, we all treated ourselves to the "F'ot F'ocolate F'uffet".

Another welcome addition this year were the dollar store glo sticks. When the sun went down, our backyard lit up with crazy little Falliday Folks!

We had a nice "Farshfallow Foast"

And Face Fainting...

Our neighbor Stan got things shakin with his concert for the kiddos.

Happy Falliday!

SOOO thankful for Falliday...and that there is no video proof of my failed attempt at making up a falliday song. :)
