Rub a Dub Dub

We are beginning to notice a few differences between Abby and Isaac. When Abby was a baby, she was a little timid about anything new. Isaac, it seems, takes just about everything in stride. A few examples: When put down for a nap: Abby's response - cry. Isaac's response - giggle. When meeting a bearded stranger for the first time: Abby - scream. Isaac - giggle. The first time seeing snow: Abby - cried. Isaac - giggled.

One disappointment from Abby's baby-hood was bubble bath. She loved bathtime, and I thought the introduction of some nice, foamy, sweet-smelling bubbles would make the whole experience even more enjoyable. Big mistake. She took one look at her bathwater and started screaming at the top of her lungs. It took over a week to get her to enter the bathtub willingly, and nearly a year before she would tolerate bubbles in the tub. So you can imagine my hesitation when the other night Abby asked to use her Elmo bubbles while she was in the tub with Isaac.

Isaac's reaction? You guessed it, giggles.
