Holiday LOWlight #1

For Sale:

One big, white, PILE OF JUNK!!!

We thought we'd ring in the new year in style by snowmobiling into the family cabin on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, our Subaru (Yes, the very one you read about last week that foiled our anniversary plans and ended up costing us $1,500 to repair) had other plans. Just as we pulled into the parking lot to pick up the snowmobiles, it coughed, clanged, jerked and clunked to a dead halt on the side of the road. We made it to the cabin and had a great time, but had to find alternate transportation back to Salt Lake in the morning. Yes, we spent our first afternoon of 2009 teaching our kids a valuable lesson about hitchiking. Isaac, not yet willing to share his precious sucking thumb - chose to display a different finger. Interested? You can find the pile of hud parked next to the snowdrift 17 miles East of Hunstville on Highway 39. Good luck and good riddance! (Do I sound bitter?)
