Babies and Thunder

Abby and Isaac's newest cousin, Hannah came to stay at our house last night. My kids could not get enough of this sweet little 2 month old. She was a great sport who just smiled and cooed while Isaac and Abby held her, hugged her, kissed her, danced silly dances for her and mauled her all night long. At one point when she did get a bit fussy, Isaac ran over to her and said, "I know how to make hewr happy! Hey Hannah, wanna see my undewrweawr?" and commenced to drop his shorts and do his underwear dance right in front of the poor kid. Funny enough - she did stop crying. After Hannah and her parents left, we headed to Costco. The sky was grey and a few sprinkles greeted us as we walked into the stores, and as we shopped, we heard the thunder booming and could hear the rain pouring down on the roof of the warehouse. My kids were a bit worried about getting wet when we walked out to the car, so they did what any logical kid would do. Used bulk produce to protect them!
Yes, lettuce and tomatoes make a perfect umbrella in a pinch.
