Cousin Day!

Every Wednesday during the summer we try to get together with as many cousins as possible. Today it was Jack and Ellie. We had a picnic in the canyon and explored the afternoon away! What a BEAUTIFUL day! We went up Mueller Park Canyon in Bountiful - where my parents used to take us kids when we were little. They used to have an enormous playground.
We went to find it today and at first were disappointed to see it had been torn out. Then we discovered the huge boulder left behind. Who needs a fancy playground when you have a big rock?

Of course, Grandma is always a big part of Cousin Day.

This photo of Isaac explains why he was pantless in the preceding pictures. These were his second pair of shorts - the first were a casualty of him getting so excited to go pee pee outside like a big camping boy that he forgot to pull them down before going. oops! The second pair lasted approximately 2.6 minutes before they were drenched in river water. And here I was thinking I was prepared with one change of clothing for the kid!
But don't worry - he was so intent on working the drinking fountain all by himself that he pretty much took a shower in the end anyway.

Happy Cousin Day Ellie and Jack! We missed you Conner, Megan, Lauren and Lexi!
