Fall-iday Celebration, Day Two

Yes, we are still celebrating the season here at the Lowry household. Today's activity: homemade placemats to be used during all future fall feasts. The kids and I (yes, I must admit that I enjoyed it just a bit more than they) dipped leaves in paint, watched bugs walk through the paint, hoping they'd weigh enough to leave a little track, and carved letter stamps out of zucchini to create two little pieces of art.

Abby tired quickly of the activity and became our self-appointed photographer. So if the photos below are a bit out of focus, you'll know why.
