My little boy is growing up right before my eyes. Recently he has taken it upon himself to be my little helper - and insists on being a part of my every move. "Isaac see! Me see! Isaac hewlp! My hewlp!" has become his mantra.
Tonight's task? Chocolate frosting for the brownies that were in the oven. He got a little carried away with the powdered sugar - and squealed with pure delight as each fluffy white cloud erupted from our bright red bowl. Funny, he giggled at the sugar in his eyes, sneezed just a bit when it got up his nose, and didn't hesistate when his shirt was covered...but as soon as he saw a bit on the counter, "UH OH! DIWRTY! DIWRTY! DIWRTY! Mommy wash it! Mommy wash it!"
He was eager to help clean off the beaters. I love my newest little helper, and I'm glad he's learning how to say "Chocolate" rather than his former favorite: "Choc-y"...perhaps the curse is lifting?
