On Saturday morning we received the great news that our little friend Alison was coming home from the hospital! We quickly rallied the troops and spent all morning scrubbing her house so it would be germ free when she came arrived. Then came the fun part...

Alison's little friends worked together to make a welcome home banner and decorate her front yard so she'd have a welcome home fit for a princess!

Speaking of princesses, REAL, LIVE Princess
Chaunie came to welcome Alison home in style!

By one o'clock, the decorations were up, the banner was hung, the cupcakes were frosted...

...and the kids were in position, just waiting for that white Subaru to come around the corner.

When she stepped out of the car, I think Alison was a bit overwhelmed by all the fuss. She
didn't want to move much, just stood there, shyly twirling her pigtails.

Princess
Chaunie wasn't offended in the least. She patiently waited for Alison to warm up to her before crowing her with her very own princess tiara.

After a few minutes, Alison whispered in her daddy's ear that she wanted to wear her Cinderella dress. Oh, that was it! She was feeling under-dressed for such a fancy occasion!

Once properly outfitted, she seemed to enjoy her welcome home as much as the other kids.

And of course, our neighbor Kristopher was there to make the balloon animals for each and every kid.

Welcome home Alison! We are so glad you're feeling better and are back in the neighborhood where you belong!
