Feast #2: Lowry-Style

This year's thanksgiving doubled as a welcome home celebration for Ben's brother Mike and his wife Broke. They've been living in Norway for over a year and we missed them like crazy! Welcome home Mike and Brooke! Here's a shot of the whole gang, minus Ben (who was standing on the stairs as a photographer). He took this photo of himself so he wouldn't feel left out.
We tried a new strategy this year - feed the kids first so they can go run around and play afterwards and the adults can eat in peace. It worked marvelously. Abby and Isaac felt very proud to be dining with the "big boys" as they call their big cousins.

As soon as we decided they had been commandeering the table long enough, Uncle Mike busted out the Freeze-dried fish he picked up in Iceland and offered everyone a sample. The smell (even though the stuff was quadruple-wrapped) was powerful enough to clear those kids out in no time. Nice move, Mike!

Yes, it was another fine meal - even little Jasmine enjoyed the festivities. Nice hat, Jazzie!
