New Neighbors

A few months ago, our awesome neighbors (the Handley's) moved. We were sad - they were terrific friends and Isaac and Tate were cute little buddies that liked to throw rocks, play in puddles and zoom around their cars together. For a few weeks, their house sat vacant, and each time we looked at it (which was quite often since it is- after all, next door) Abby and Isaac would say, "Why isn't anyone ever home at Tate's house?" I had to keep explaining to my heartbroken kids that it was no longer Tate's house and that we'd have new neighbors soon.

Funnily enough, a few months ago, a NEW Tate moved in! He's a bit younger, and drools a bit more than our first buddy Tate, but we can still call it Tate's House!

Tate has a big sister named Paityn who has attached herself to Isaac - he loves every minute of it, and is teaching her all sorts of neat tricks. Like when we went hiking the other day and he decided he was tired of being a boy and wanted to be a doggie instead. She was happy to follow along.

At Paityn's birthday party this weekend, her grandma brought her new dune buggie and let us cruise around the neighborhood.

Daddy let Isaac drive - and even the pouring rain and splattering mud from the puddles weren't enough to wipe that goofy grin off his face.

Welcome to the neighborhood Paityn and Tate!
